After completing her residency at Howard University Hospital, Dr. Dorismond first pursued an Advanced Pelvic Surgery fellowship at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, and is now completing an Advanced Women’s Health Research fellowship at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (SFVAMC) while also earning her master’s in clinical research at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Her focus areas encompass Human papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer screening, prevention, and management, demonstrating a profound commitment to enhancing women’s healthcare. Her research focus has led to several first-authored published manuscripts and oral presentations at national conferences, including the ASCCP 2024 scientific meeting on anogenital & HPV-related diseases in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Dorismond is a former professional volleyball player and holds a master’s in creative writing alongside her medical qualifications. Outside of her professional pursuits, she has cultivated a successful art business, showcasing her creative talents through various mediums online and at local markets. Remaining in the Bay Area, Dr. Dorismond is set to make significant contributions to our community through her clinical practice and research endeavors. She also passionately shares her medical expertise with startups in maternal health, cervical cancer screening, and AI healthcare, reflecting her dedication to innovation and progress in healthcare delivery.
