Karen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has devoted her professional career to women’s health across all age groups. Karen graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Old Dominion University with a Master of Science in Nursing.
She worked in private practice at Williamsburg Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Virginia, for 17 years and then moved to Palo Alto, California, to work for Stanford Gynecology. She is also a certified menopause specialist through the North American Menopause Society.
Karen and her husband, Mike, currently reside in Jackson, Wyoming. She has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, reading, laughing, eating at great restaurants, and always stopping to smell the roses.
What excites me most about my work, beyond the profound joy of helping people, is the opportunity to build authentic connections with patients. I truly believe that kindness matters, and that trust and shared decision-making are essential in supporting women to achieve their health care goals with confidence and clarity.
