Dr VonderHaar is a board- certified obstetrician and gynecologist who is passionate about ensuring accessible care for all. She believes in the individualized approach to patient care, recognizing that everyone’s needs are unique. In addition to her clinical work, Dr VonderHaar has received additional training in nutrition, breastfeeding support and exercise training in pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Dr VonderHaar is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she received the outstanding resident research career award. Prior to launching her career in Alaska, she volunteered at a remote center in Haiti, implementing a cervical cancer screening program, which she continues to support.
In her free time, Dr VonderHaar enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and Labrador, CrossFit, running, hiking, and any excuse to go to the mountains.
I am passionate about accessibility to healthcare for all. I am here to provide individualized care as I recognize every person has unique needs.
